QUALITY AND FOOD SAFETY POLICY

The Management of Quinta do Casal Monteiro, Lda establishes as its Quality and Food Safety Policy the principles set out herein, which must be followed by all employees and communicated to relevant interested parties, aiming at the continuous improvement of the quality and food safety of its products, processes, services, and environmental impact.

The Quality and Food Safety Policy is based on the following principles:

1) Quality and Food Safety Assurance.

In accordance with applicable legislation, to provide the consumer with a safe and high-quality product through the systematization and application of internationally recognized technical and regulatory requirements.

2) Meeting Customer Requirements-

To comply with agreed customer requirements in alignment with legal demands and applicable regulations, at both production and consumption levels, in order to ensure customer satisfaction while fully guaranteeing the legality and food safety of the supplied products.

3) Environmental Responsibility-

With facilities located within the National Agricultural Reserve and National Ecological Reserve, the company shall continuously assess and minimize environmental impact across all production processes, ensuring compliance with environmental legislation and preservation of the surrounding biodiversity.

4) Ethics and Employee Engagement-

To establish a work environment and conditions for employees that: ensure their safety; encourage participation in process improvement and optimization; support compliance with the Food Safety Management System; promote professional training; and foster responsible behavior and mutual respect among colleagues.

5) Sustainable Organization-

To define a medium- and long-term business strategy by adopting sustainable practices and certifications that ensure ongoing profitability and continuity.

6) Continuous Improvement of the Food Safety Management System-

To ensure the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the Food Safety Management System, involving all company employees.
